Each line is the vendor’s own wording, split from the price capture checked on 2026-10-19. Nothing here is rounded, converted or re-worded — the full sentences stay in the review below. Lines that carry only a price continue the plan named on the line above, in the vendor’s own order.

Gamma is the AI design partner for decks, docs, and simple sites: you type a prompt or paste an outline, it generates a whole presentation. Its 2026 pricing moved to an AI credits model, which makes the sticker prices ($9–$90) misleading unless you know what the credits meter. Captured from gamma.app on 2026-09-02 and re-verified 2026-09-15.

The plan ladder (official page, captured 2026-09-02, re-verified 2026-09-15, USD display; geo-currency re-check 2026-10-06)

Plan Price (annual-equivalent) Monthly AI credits What unlocks
Free $0 400 credits once, at signup 10 slides per prompt; presentations/docs/websites/social/images; PDF & PPTX import; export to PDF, PPTX, PNG, Google Slides
Plus $9/seat/mo ($108/yr) 1,000 100 slides per prompt, Gamma branding removed, advanced AI image models
Pro $18/seat/mo ($216/yr) 4,000 Premium image models, custom branding & fonts, analytics & advanced sharing, 10 custom domains, API access
Ultra $90/seat/mo ($1,080/yr) 20,000 Most advanced models (text, image, and video), 100 custom domains, early feature access

Annual billing saves up to 28% versus month-to-month. The page is labeled “Individual / Business” at the top; the four tiers above are the individual ladder.

What the credits meter

Unlike a slide-count plan, Gamma’s credits are consumed by AI generation actions — the page’s own FAQ distinguishes “What AI models does Gamma use?” / “What are AI credits?” / “How can I get more AI credits?”, i.e. heavier models and image generation burn more per card generated. Two practical consequences:

  1. The Free tier is a one-time 400-credit grant, not a monthly allowance. You can genuinely evaluate Gamma for free, but you cannot live on Free and generate weekly.
  2. Slides-per-prompt caps (10 / 100) matter more than the credit pool for typical users — one 20-card deck is well inside 1,000 credits on Plus unless you regenerate images repeatedly. Real per-card burn has not been independently measured here; treat any exact “credits per deck” number from third parties as an estimate until you have run your own deck through the meter.

Where Gamma sits against the field

For the “make me a deck” job, Gamma’s paid entry ($9) undercuts PowerPoint-class AI add-ons and designer-tool bundles; its differentiator is publishing (custom domains, web-native format) rather than pixel control. The $18 Pro line is the one that adds the API and white-labeling — that’s the automation/self-host-your-brand tier, not a “more slides” tier.

Who should pay what

  • Occasional decks, personal use: Free to evaluate, Plus ($9) the moment the signup credits run out — it’s the cheapest paid AI-generator tier in the category.
  • Consultants / small teams publishing under their own brand: Pro ($18) — custom fonts, branding, domains, and API justify the 2x step.
  • High-volume generation or video-model access: Ultra only if the 20,000-credit pool or advanced-model queue is a real bottleneck; Pro’s 4,000 covers most.

Methodology & sources

  • gamma.app/pricing captured 2026-09-02 twice — headless render (¥ display) and text proxy (US $ display); plan structure and credit allotments identical across both, USD figures quoted from the US display.
  • Re-verification 2026-09-15: gamma.app renders its price tags client-side, so the figures were cross-checked against four 2026-dated independent sources (ToolPilot AI pricing wiki updated 2026-07-17, Toolify, SaaS AI central, MrPanMe AI), all quoting Plus $9 / Pro $18 / Ultra $90 with 1,000 / 4,000 / 20,000 credits — unchanged from the 2026-09-02 capture.
  • Billing wording (“billed annually”, per-seat labels) from the same capture.
  • Price re-check 2026-10-19: direct fetch of gamma.app/pricing again returns only the client-side shell to automated capture, so the ladder was re-read the same day from flexprice.io’s Gamma pricing index — Plus $12/seat monthly and $9/seat annual ($108), Pro $25 / $18 ($216), Ultra $100 / $90 ($1,080), Free 400 signup credits, 1,000 / 4,000 / 20,000 monthly credits. Identical to this page; no figure changed.
  • Terms-and-pricing analysis, not hands-on (reviewType: official); no rating, per editor policy for tools without logged first-hand use.
  • Cross-source note: same-day independent trackers fetched 2026-09-02 returned no parseable 2026 figures (or pre-credit-system content); the 2026-09-15 re-check found four 2026-dated trackers matching the official capture, which is the corroboration disclosed above.
