AI Coding & Developer Tools
Developer-facing tools: coding assistants, code review and refactor agents, self-hostable platforms, CLIs, SDKs and the plumbing around them (28 entries). Most entries in this category come straight from the project's own repository rather than a marketing page, so the recurring questions we answer on each entry are the ones a developer actually asks before adopting something: what licence is it under, is the repository still being maintained, does the free tier require an API key you pay for separately, and what changes between self-hosting and paying for a hosted version. Pricing is quoted from the official pricing page or the repository's stated billing terms, with the date it was checked printed on the card. We do not benchmark speed or accuracy here unless a test log backs it — claims of that kind are left to whoever made them, and the page says which source each figure came from. Newest entries appear first below, and the price snapshot table above the grid lets you scan the whole category for free tiers without opening each page; ratings are present only on the handful of entries we have actually run hands-on, so the table carries the evidence level instead of a score.
Price snapshot
Every entry in this category as one row, in the same newest-first order as the cards below. The price column is the opening line of what we captured from the vendor’s own page — hover or focus a cell for the complete wording, which is never rewritten — and the last column is the day that price was checked.
