Roundups & Comparisons
This is the collection layer of the site: roundups that survey a set of tools in one place, and head-to-head comparisons that put two or three products through the same columns (15 entries). Every roundup here is built from entries that already exist as individual pages, so the numbers in a table are the numbers you find on the entry itself — same price, same check date, no second set of figures maintained in parallel. Comparisons are written against a fixed structure: what each product does, what each one costs at the entry tier and at the tier people actually buy, what the free tier withholds, and which situations each one is plainly wrong for. Where we have not tested two products with the same input, the page says that instead of ranking them, and the table columns are marked with the source of each figure. Use these pages as the index — each row links to the full entry, and each entry links back to its category page below. Newest comparisons first.
Price snapshot
Every entry in this category as one row, in the same newest-first order as the cards below. The price column is the opening line of what we captured from the vendor’s own page — hover or focus a cell for the complete wording, which is never rewritten — and the last column is the day that price was checked.

zCAD AI vs Meshy 2026: Parametric CAD or 3D Mesh?

Viktor vs Lindy 2026: Slack AI Employee Pricing Compared
Viktor ($100/mo for 40,000 shared workspace credits, no per-seat fee) vs Lindy (from $29.99/user/mo for 3,000 credits each) — both Slack-native AI coworkers. Both price pages re-read 2026-10-22.
Spira Maxima vs ngram 2026: Social Posts vs Explainers
Spira Maxima and ngram, both read from the vendors' own pages on 2026-10-16: free tiers, $15/$59 against $29/$59/$299, and the cost per second neither page prints.
ngram vs Synthesia 2026: AI Explainer Video Price Math
ngram (free 60s, $29/$59/$299) vs Synthesia (500 free credits/mo, $29/$89): both official pricing pages re-read 2026-10-14, plus the per-minute math both hide.
HyperFrames vs Remotion: Same Goal, Opposite Licenses (2026)
Two HTML/CSS-based frameworks that turn code into MP4, picked apart on the points that actually change your bill: license model, agent surface, render stack, and maturity. HyperFrames is Apache-2.0 with no per-render fee and no team-size threshold; Remotion is a custom two-tier license with a three person limit. Both verified same-day, 2026-10-11.
Coolify vs Dokploy 2026: Self-Hosted PaaS Costs Compared
Coolify (Apache-2.0, free self-hosted, Cloud $5/mo for 2 servers + $3 each) vs Dokploy (Apache-2.0 core, free self-hosted, Cloud $4.50/server/mo or $15/mo for 3) — official pricing pages and GitHub license files read 2026-10-09. Both bring-your-own-server; the split is flat pricing versus per-server pricing, and where the management layer runs.
Wispr Flow vs Superwhisper 2026: Weekly Cap or Lifetime
Wispr Flow (Free 2,000 words/week, Pro $15/mo or $12/mo annual) vs Superwhisper (Free unlimited local dictation, Pro $8.49/mo, $84.99/yr, $249.99 lifetime) — official pricing pages re-read 2026-10-09. One charges a subscription and caps the free tier by the week; the other gives unlimited offline dictation for free and sells a lifetime key.

What coding-agent desktop pets are, where to browse thousands of them, and the licensing and setup caveats — focused on community galleries rather than any single mascot.
Oats vs Granola: Free Local Notes vs $14 Cloud
Oats (free, open-source, MIT, fully offline meeting notes for Mac and Windows) vs Granola (cloud AI that enhances the notes you type, free tier with limited history then $14/user/mo).
